I don't know if you have ever been to a 'third world' country and seen the poverty up close.

To see children drinking dirty river water because it is all they have left to turn to.  Water that carries diseases that make them sick to the point of death.

The thing is there are Christians and Churches all around that are drinking mucky water and they are breaking out in all kinds of spiritual diseases.  Diseases like slander, hypocrisy, envy, harshness, gossip and a 100 more.

The problem is - they don't realise why!  We are what we drink and if we drink dirty water, it's no surprise when we break out in nasty diseases.

God describes the bible as 'spiritual milk' designed to make us grow (1 Peter 2:2).  Spiritual milk that helps us to care for people, love people, look after people.

When we are looking for guidance in life are we drinking dirty water, or are we drinking the milk God has given us?
